After more than 20 years deploying and supporting data-protection environments, our holding, LSG Global, founded NGStructures and launched NGBackup — a sovereign engineering project: your data in your own jurisdiction, encryption and LGPD/GDPR compliance out of the box. Instead of patching a decades-old code base, we rewrote the entire platform in Rust (memory-safe): while legacy tools publish memory-corruption CVEs, we can't have them by construction.

What NGBackup does differently

  • Automated agent enrollment — with no clear-text passwords. Onboarding a new client is install-the-agent-and-done: the automated process mints a single-use token, brings up the TLS channel with a pinned fingerprint and seals the password on both sides. The catalog stores only the hash. No copying passwords between .conf files, no SSH.
  • Real usability. A modern Web Console with job/client/pool/schedule/storage wizards; a Restore Studio with full-VM, granular, database and point-in-time restore in 4 steps; a topology map; MFA; and an AI copilot that analyzes environment health.
  • VM replication with cross-hypervisor restore. One engine does backup, replication and conversion (V2V): restore or replicate any VM to any hypervisor — VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox, Nutanix, CloudStack — with built-in CBT and DR, no separate license.
  • Next-generation global deduplication. Source- and target-side dedup with Zstandard compression, cutting storage by at least 20× — with real-world production cases reaching 60×. The engine uses segment locality and bloom filters: far less disk and RAM than traditional architectures.
  • Anti-ransomware and immutability. Immutable (WORM) backups and active ransomware detection in seconds.
  • Complete coverage, all included. 20+ commercial plugins in the price — Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, M365, Active Directory and more — to disk, tape and cloud (S3, OCI, Azure, GCS).
